New Pregnancy - Article On Teenage Pregnancy

Though most married women will like to experience and enjoy a new pregnancy, very few know about different symptoms which can be taken to be indicative of conception. The most common symptom to identify possible pregnancy is a missed period. But if you do not keep track of your menstrual cycle or if it varies widely from one month to the next, you may not be sure when to expect your period. In such situations other symptoms may become your indicators to pregnancy.

The final evidence of your pregnancy will be provided only by a home pregnancy test. However you should note that home pregnancy tests are not sensitive enough to detect most pregnancies until about a week after a missed period. So if you decide to take a test earlier than that and get a negative result, try again in a few days.

Before you take a home pregnancy test to confirm your new pregnancy you may also look for other common symptoms usually experienced by pregnant women. Hormonal changes in early pregnancy cause bloating in the body and your clothes may feel tighter than usual at the waistline. Similarly you may experience sensitive, sore breasts caused by increasing levels of hormones. The soreness may feel like an exaggerated version of how your breasts feel before your period. A related symptom is that if you are pregnant your basal body temperature increases and stays elevated for 18 days in a row.

Other symptoms of new pregnancy are fatigue, nausea or vomiting and frequent urination. If you are pregnant you feel tired and exhausted all of a sudden. The reasons for early pregnancy fatigue are not known for sure. However, some experts attribute it to rapidly increasing levels of the hormone progesterone. Some women experience excessive urination if they are pregnant.

During pregnancy the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which leads to extra fluid being processed by your kidneys and ending up in your bladder. Many women feel vomiting sensation early in pregnancy. It has also been observed that some women have a small amount of vaginal bleeding around 11 or 12 days after conception. If you're newly pregnant, it's not uncommon to feel repelled by the smell of a sandwich or cup of coffee which you used to enjoy earlier.

All in all there are long lists of symptoms which may tell that you are pregnant. If so then take a home pregnancy test and if confirmed then prepare for a pleasant new pregnancy experience.
